We provide routine "Peace of Mind" Safety, Security, Loss, and Damage Evaluations/Inspections, with Photographs, and Owner Support Services to help the Absentee Property Owner, protect, maintain, and service his/her Second Home or Rental Property on the Outer Banks of North Carolina.

During the Inspection/Evaluation process we will make sure your investment is secure, and will check for illegal entry, vandalism, theft, storm damage, leaks and other problems, and e-mail you a Report, with Photographs. We are also available to serve as your Emergency Representative and Key Holder on the Outer Banks, responding to any emergency or issue that may arise. 

At your request we will obtain estimates for you for work that needs to be accomplished, coordinate and observe your contractor's work, and take before and after photographs for your review, before you write the check. 

Your time is valuable and the cost of fuel is high, so why travel to the Outer Banks of North Carolina to check on your Investment, when we can perform this service for you!  We provide "Peace of Mind"!

SPECIAL NOTE

The burglary / intrusion rate on the Outer Banks has Increased over the past five years, and Intruders not only steal everything of value they can carry, some intruders will utilize your house, cottage, or condo to sleep in at night. When the intruder(s) depart, they often leave a door and/or window(s) open, which subjects the interior of your house, cottage or condo to wind, rain, and anything that wishes to walk or crawl inside. During this period of increased Criminal Activity on the Outer Banks, we can serve as your eyes and ears to help Protect Your Investment!

We will check the interior and exterior of your house, cottage, or condo, weekly or bi-weekly, and report any recent safety, security, loss or damage issues, or other unusual conditions.  During each evaluation we will make sure your property is secure, and check every floor of the structure. If we discover issues or unusual conditions that requires immediate attention, we will notify you via telephone and e-mail. We will take Digital Photographs of the damage, unsafe or unusual condition, and send the digital photos to you via e-mail. See our Description of Service.  You will receive an Inspection Report , with photographs, via e-mail after each Evaluation/Visit, or upon request, via the U. S. Postal Service. 

We are available to serve as your "Key Holder / Emergency Representative" on the Outer Banks, for emergency response issues, and will perform other services for you, such as, accepting deliveries, mailing items to you that were left behind, and obtaining estimates for lawn service, painting, repairs, and other maintenance related issues.  We can obtain repair estimates for your review and determination, unlock your door for the contractor(s) you choose, and if you wish, we will also stay with the contractor during the entire construction/service process. When the work is finished we will take digital photographs of the work or service performed, and secure your house, cottage or condo.  

After a Severe Storm or Hurricane, upon your request, we will check your house, cottage, condo or business, and e-mail you Photographs of any damage or unusual condition(s) we discover.  We will call you if we see any condition that needs immediate attention, and follow up with a written Report and Digital Photographs.

End of Rental Inspections

At the end of each Rental Period (Normally Saturday or Sunday) we will check the interior and exterior of your house, cottage, or condo, and report any damage or loss caused by the renter, and any unsafe or unusual condition, which may effect the rental condition of your investment.  During each evaluation we will check every floor of the structure, and report our findings directly to you, and/or your Key Holder (Rental Company or Individual). This Service can be added to the Investment Protection Program.

Construction, Remodeling, Repair Coordination & Insurance Documentation

Is your house, cottage,or condo in need of repair or remodeling, and you are not available to look for a contractor, obtain estimates, and visit the construction site on a routine basis? We will help you a find contractor, obtain estimates for you, routinely visit the construction site, or stay with the contractor during construction/repair, and e-mail you Digital Photographs of the work at the end of each visit. You will be able to see the work in progress and upon completion, before you write the check!  This service is included in the Investment Protection Program.

New Construction: We will photograph your investment as it is being built, e-mail you Photographs after each visit, and provide you a CD of all of the photographs we have taken, when the job is completed.

Insurance Documentation: We will photograph every room in your house or condo, including your furniture, electronic equipment, appliances, and other items, and also the outside of your investment. Upon completion we will mail you a CD containing the photographs, for your personal use.

After a Storm/Hurricane, we will check your house, cottage, condo or business, and provide you Immediate Notification and Photographs of damage or unusual conditions!  Road conditions and Emergency Management Restrictions may prohibited you from accessing the Outer Banks to check on your investment.  We are located on the Outer Banks and will be available to perform this "Peace of Mind" service for you!  This service is included in the Investment Protection Program.
